On a Mission to Find Excitement in NetEnt’s Fruit Shop

NetEnt has some really great games. They continuously surprise me with new slot game releases. The most recent that I‘ve come across is Fruit Shop. I must admit that I was disappointed to say the least. After Mama Mia and Ned and His Friends they come out with Fruit Shop?

Fruit Shop is a slot game with symbols of fruit and letters. There is a wild Fruit Shop symbol. The unique thing is that you receive free spins whenever a fruit symbol is on an active pay line. Each win during free spins awards an additional spin.

When I first played it I couldn’t be more disinterested. There’s no fancy bonus game and the graphics are rather old school. As a NetEnt fan I was on a mission to find something exciting about Fruit Shop.

I went to one of the top online casinos, Mr. Green, to give this slot one more chance. Gambling £75 was all I needed to do to see if this slot game could redeem itself. Hopefully I could double it at a minimum. My hubby and I could use a date night anyway. Come to think of it, it has been a while.

The free spins are fairly frequent. The reels themselves really don’t pay much. If anything, the wins come from the free spins. I was down by nearly half my bankroll within the first 5 minutes spinning at £1.50. The reels were spinning very slowly. I was beginning to get impatient.

Suddenly, I hit 4 oranges with a wild symbol for £100. It also triggered 5 free spins. His kicked off a series of mini wins. I was winning and planning to be sensible. All I wanted was to double my bankroll and find something positive about this slot game. I doubled my bankroll in no time and cashed it out.

My hubby was in for a night out thanks to Fruit Shop. I put his clothes out on the bed and waited for him to get home.
