Fe Fi Fo Fum

NetEnt has released Jack and the Beanstalk. Have you played it yet? It’s super cool. The walking wilds, the free spins and oh my there’s so much to be excited about! I had to choose an online casino to check out this slot. Betsafe Casino had it and I had nothing but a great time spinning away.

Here’s some info on the slot game directly from the NetEnt website.

Jack and the Beanstalk
Video Slot

In the latest of Net Entertainment's 3D video slots, Jack and the Beanstalk™ tells the classic tale of a boy on his quest for riches. Innovation is brought to the reels yet again. The featured Free Spins Treasure Collection truly portrays the story of Jack’s search for treasures in the land of giants.

The adventure begins with 5-reels, 20-bet lines and an all new Walking Wild feature. Walking Wilds appear on any reel during the main game and in Free Spins. Walking Wilds progressively move to the left after every re-spin at no extra cost to the player, disappearing from the reels after reaching the leftmost reel. In addition, Walking Wilds have a multiplier of x3 on bet line wins.

Players that climb their way to Free Spins find what treasures Jack has been after. By collecting keys players can unlock additional types of Wilds. Collect 3 keys, and new Wilds that appear on the reels turn into Stacked Wilds of 2. Collect 3 more keys and new Wilds change into Stacked Wilds of 3. As if this wasn’t enough to excite players on their quest with Jack, when 3 more keys are collected an Expanding Wild is collected and turns any new Wilds into expanded wilds. With re-spins on all Wilds and Treasure Collection Free Spins in Jack and the Beanstalk™ -takes players to heights unheard of in video slot games!

The best part is the walking wilds. I mean the graphics are fabulous but the walking wilds really make this slot game unique. I had about 7 re-spins just from those walking wilds. Do you love the new Jack and the Beanstalk slot game?

Frolicking with Pixies of the Forest

IGT is one of my favorite software companies. When it comes to gambling, their slots are amazing! There’s a new release at the Virgin Games online casino called Pixies of the Forest. It’s so whimsical and fun to play. I find the pay out much better on this in comparison to some of IGT’s other recent releases.

Here are the Pixies of the Forest features listed on Virgin Games:

Tumbling Reels™ Feature

All paytable-defined symbol combinations trigger the Tumbling Reels™ feature during regular and Free Spins Bonus game play. All winning symbol combinations are evaluated and values are added to the win meter.

All symbols in winning combinations disappear. All symbol positions on each reel are filled as symbols tumble from above to fill all empty spaces. The game screen is re-evaluated for symbols in winning combinations and values are added to the win meter.

The Tumbling Reels™ feature remains active until no paytable-defined symbol combinations are created as a result of new symbols tumbling from above.

Connected Lines™ Feature with 3 for 1 Betting

A line is considered connected if each of its symbols share a side or corner with the symbols(s) on the neighboring reel(s). There are 99 possible paylines that employ this Connected Lines™ feature and they are all present in Pixies of the Forest™. With 3 for 1 betting, you activate all these 99 paylines for only 33 coins, earning you 3 paylines for every 1 coin staked.

Free Spins Bonus

You can trigger the Free Spins Bonus by getting three Bonus symbols on a wagered payline. Three Bonus symbols on multiple paylines does not trigger the Bonus multiple times. You can only trigger the Bonus once on a given spin.

Once you trigger the Free Spins Bonus, you are prompted to pick one of the Bonus symbols to reveal your awarded free spin count. You can earn 5 to 11 free spins.

The Free Spins Bonus is played automatically. Your coin value in the Bonus is equal to the coin value on the reel spin that triggered the Bonus. The Bonus reels are made richer by adding wilds to the first four reels.

A non-wild symbol must be part of any winning combination.

For example, the following outcome on a payline pays the award for five Ace symbols:

Wild - Wild - Wild - Wild - Ace

Bonus play continues until you have played through your free spins. You cannot retrigger additional free spins in the Free Spins Bonus.

I got the free spins several times. Three Bonus symbols hit the reels and you are prompted to choose one. Your choice will reveal the number of free spins you get. I got 11 the first time and 9 the second. When you have winning combos on the reels, the symbols disappear and additional symbols fall in place giving you more opportunities to win. This feature makes you free spins last so much longer. There is a Pixies of the Forest symbol. It took me a minute to realize that it wasn’t the wild. I was looking at the screen puzzled as to why I didn’t have a win when it was included in a combination on the reels. There’s a separate wild symbol. Watch out for that!

Immortal Romance: Is it true love?

There has been a massive hype surrounding the release of Microgaming’s Immortal Romance. This slot game is exactly like Thunderstruck 2 available at a number of online casinos.  I had to check it out for myself at 32Red Casino.

It’s uncanny how the features are clones of TS2. Players must unlock achievements by getting the many winning combinations and you’ve got 243 ways to win. There is a chamber of free spins. Each character is unlocked as you progress. The Wild Desire feature appears randomly turning up to all five reels wild. I would pass out if that happened to me. So far I’ve got two to turn wild for me. I won’t hold my breath though.

Anyway, I was all set to try this out. I deposited £20 at first. Hey, there’s nothing wrong with being hopeful. I know with TS2 it took more than £20 for anything to happen but I was thinking positive.  With a name like Immortal Romance, how bad could it be?

I started gamblingt 60 pence per spins but quickly changed it to 90. I had to deposit another £20. I changed my bet so many times I couldn’t even keep track. I did get the free spins and won £18. When I think of a bonus round, I tend to think of big wins. That was hardly enough to buy my hubby a nice Christmas gift with.
Four deposits later I wasn’t doing so well. The wins come in waves then they disappear. I found that I a few good wins in a row then the slot completely died. If I got a bonus I almost felt like I paid for it because the reels were very stingy. It amazes me that a slot with all these way to win could be so stingy.

I found it to be a lot of hype for fans of the Twilight saga. If you don’t like TS2, don’t bother with this one unless the curiosity gets the best of you as it did me.

What are your thoughts on this slot game? Is it true love?

Gambled the Afternoon Away

Another wonderful afternoon in a quiet house led me straight to Jackpotjoy. I was searching through the slot game because I wanted something a bit different to play. Even I haven’t played every game they offer. As I was scanning, I spotted a slot game called Winning Lot. Something about it looked familiar but I couldn’t put my finger on what it was.

I avoided the pay table to leave some element of surprise. Winning Lot is a 25 line slot game which I wagered 5p per line on. The symbols remind me of an old lady’s living room. I wasn’t sure what to make of it but one thing was for sure, my balance was remaining pretty even. I was on edge anticipating the bonus round. I hoped it would be great.

I noticed three bonus symbols. There’s a top hat clad man holding a gavel on it. Once the bonus began I realized that he was an auctioneer. I knew this looked familiar. So, I had to choose an item to go up for auction in the Antique Auction Feature. The auctioneer is presenting them in front of a group of potential bidders. I win based on the objects sold. The prizes were multiplied by my bet. I was having such a good time as the bidders were fighting over an old fashioned lamp. Several items were sold and I gained an extra £45 from the sales.

As for this this slot game looking so familiar, it was exactly like a WMS games I played in the land based casinos. It’s none other than Winning Bid. The concept is the same when it comes to the bonus game. I was so excited to find a comparable version at an online casino.

A great afternoon of gambling was the perfect way to relax. Overall, I had a nice little win of £20. Don’t you get excited when you find your land based slots online?
