I had a day to myself and wanted to get out for a little while. Where to go? It was free bingo day over at Gala so I headed over. Somehow I spent £16.50 on tickets when they were supposed to be free. The catch was I purchased 33 tickets and played all the goodies that they had rather than just the free book. I went the electronic route and have really learned to love it.
As bingo was about to begin I spotted some people that I knew. I ran over said my hellos and got settled in for the game. My husband was texting me wondering where I was. The afternoon bingo session begins around the time he has his lunch break from work. I ignored it because we could use a little spice. Let him wonder where I was. There was no harm in that.
The first few games came and went very quickly. With all the tickets I had in play I was very close to a win. Close wasn’t good enough. Bingo really had to grow on me. It wasn’t the sort of thing I could ever imagine myself sneaking off for an afternoon of. I consider myself somewhat hip and bingo just has this old lady connotation. I am a fan of gambling on all the newest games at my favorite online casinos.
We were on to the last game of the session and I hadn’t come out a winner yet. I had begun to think that more tickets wasn’t always better until I bingo’d on the full house for £50. In reality I probably won about £25 after I factor in all that I spent at bingo. I bought an abundance of tickets, played some side games and of course I needed a Diet Coke wash it all down with.
It is October, so in the spirit of Halloween I hid right as my husband was coming in the door. I jumped out and scared the heck out of him. I did say we needed a little spice didn’t I?
