Bingo Really is Gambling

For some reason I seem to believe that playing Bingo is not really gambling. I suppose in comparison to online casinos I spend a lot less. I do spend plenty at Bingo too and the potential is there to spend even more. They have electronic machines to play your cards on. With those there are also different price packages each giving the player more cards. I’ve seen electronic Bingo packages as high as £49.

There are also loads of side games. Typically each costs £1 to play and I must play 2 at a time. On electronic bingo you can play 4 at a time. After I leave I’ve spend a nice chunk of change. So what would make me thing that Bingo isn’t really gambling. I suppose I can’t get into quite as much trouble as I can when I play online. There are only so many games to play in a session. Slots can go on all day and night.

I went to a different club tonight and I was so sorry that I did. We were at the opposite end of town so it was closer. On a Friday night, the houses were only £50. That’s pathetic. My normal club pays £10 for a line, £25 for a double line and £100 for the house. The last few games are worth £200 and the final is worth £500. There were about 20 people total including me and husband. Yes, I dragged him with me. He didn’t want to play so he listened to music on his iPhone the entire time.

As I looked around I felt somewhat depressed. The lighting was awful and I think that everyone was over 70 years old. They probably don’t want to try anything new and want to continue going to the same place they’ve gone to win a very tiny jackpot. I wanted to go up to each of them and tell them what they were missing. My husband was showing me South Park videos and I couldn’t wait for the game to be over so I could get home and get to bed.

Bingo really is gambling and this time I took a gamble on the location.
