I have been a busy bee lately and desired a much needed day out. I headed to the local land based casino for a day of gambling. Nothing beats the comfort of home when it comes to an online casino except the occasional land based experience.
The casinos are actually very tiny in my town. There are only about 17 or slots in the whole place. The remaining games are electronic roulette and a few table games. They do have a poker room which I avoid at all costs. With a picture of a shark dressed in a suit standing outside the room, I think I’ll pass!
I brought £100 with me to see what I could do but first I needed a cocktail. I stroll up to the bartender and order a Mai Tai. Hey, I had a day to myself and was feeling fancy. Anyway, he looks at me like I have 5 heads. The funny thing is that the drink was on their cocktail menu. He pulls out some instructions so I take a seat as I can see this is gonna take a while. The bartender finally brings me the drink and I ask him if I’ve thrown him off by ordering the Mai Tai. He says “well I wasn’t expecting to make drinks so I hope it’s ok.” I was in utter shock. I said “well honey, what exactly do you do here as a bartender?” Again I caught him off guard so I left the poor thing alone.
I find my favorite slot machine, Mayan Riches, and put in some cash. Almost immediately I hit a three scatter symbols for 5 free spins. I watch the reels with wide eyes. I double my money within minutes. In all the excitement I hear a slurp. I took every last drop of that Mai Tai during my free spins. Dare I order another?
