Poker Time

Quiet is one of those things that I cherish most. I can’t wait to sit down, take a breath and listen to quiet. Quiet that is so peaceful that I can feel my eyes getting heavy. No sleeping for me! Quiet time is poker time! One of the games I like to play is Jacks or Better when I play poker at an online casino. My wager was £5 per hand but only one hand at a time.

The Royal Flush was worth £4,000. Of course I kept that in mind as my ultimate goal. I began to think about all the things I could do with that cash. My hubby and I would go on a tropical vacation and sip cocktails on a beach somewhere all thanks to this gambling session. I hit some small wins back and forth but nothing really substantial.

I noticed a poker tournament was coming up. I have never been involved in a poker tournament before. They make me nervous because my skills are probably not as advanced as some of these players I would be up against. It’s such a shame that the issues in the US have affected the poker sites I loved most. I certainly believe in the right for Americans to spend their money in the way they want but these poker sites should have followed the rules, period. They have no one to blame but themselves for losing their licenses etc. I was reading about the issues at Full Tilt recently. There’s a number of players whose cash is inaccessible at the moment. I believe that it is just a matter of time before players will be able to access their funds.

All this runs through my mind as I’m playing poker. As far as my game, I was no closer to the 4 grand than before I began. As for this session, the best I could do was a flush for 30 quid.
